Sunlake Shelter Information
Sunlake High School will be acting as a hurricane shelter for those impacted by Hurricane Irma on Friday at 11 a.m, September 8th.
Shelter residents are encouraged to bring essential belongings such as a change of clothes, toiletries, water, medications, flashlights, reading lights, and a blanket/sleeping mat. There will be very limited space for storage. NO ALCOHOL, WEAPONS, OR DRUGS ARE ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided during designated times each day open however, we are unable to provide special meals for an individual’s special dietary needs. Residents are encouraged to bring personal use water for drinking. Upon arrival, you must check-in to the registration area.

Shelters are designed to provide short-term relief and basic support.
