We will be administering state EOC (end of course) tests and the PERT (for concordant scores only) at Sunlake High School this summer. Please read the information below and be sure to register as instructed.
Students attending ESY (Summer School) will be given priority and will receive a phone message inviting them to register on the form below. ESY students will ride the bus to school but if they test longer than the ESY day, they will need to have transportation home.
Students who did not attend ESY but would like to take one or more of the state EOCs AND have their own transportation must sign up online by July 12, 2019 in order to be considered. If there are enough spaces, they will be contacted with a confirmation. They should be at school on the testing date by 9:00 am.
FSA EOCs (Algebra 1 and Geometry) We will be administering the two-day FSA Algebra 1 and Geometry EOCs on July 16th and 17th (student must be present both days). Testing will begin promptly at 9:30 am. Students are required to sit for at least 90 minutes of each testing day and will not be permitted to leave (even if completed and submitted) prior to this time limit. For most students, each session takes approximately 90 minutes to complete, however students may have up 1/2 school day (3 hrs) to complete each session per day.
NGSSS EOCs (Biology and US History) We will be administering the NGSSS History and Biology EOCs on July 18th. Testing will begin promptly at 9:30 am. Students are required to sit for at least 80 minutes and will not be permitted to leave (even if completed and submitted) prior to this time limit. Students may have until the end of the school day to complete the test.
All EOC tests begin at 9:30 and will be held in the Media Center.
**ALL STUDENTS (ESY and non ESY) MUST complete the registration form below.
We will also offer the PERT Math test on July 15th. Students who will be in 11th and 12th grades in the 2019-20 school year and who have not passed the Algebra 1 EOC will receive a phone message inviting them to take PERT. Scoring a 97 on the PERT Math will meet the Algebra 1 EOC graduation requirement. (Please note that this session of the PERT is NOT for dual enrollment qualification.)
There will be an optional Bootcamp session offered at 10:00 am to help students prepare for the PERT. The actual test will begin at 12:00 pm and will be held in the Media Center. Students who plan to attend must RSVP by July 11, 2019 by completing the online registration form below:
