In order to protect the health and safety of employees, staff, and students, all those who access Pasco County School locations must self-screen for symptoms and other risk factors of COVID-19 daily. If you answer YES to any of the questions, you should NOT be on campus. Access the Visitor Screener or the Student Screener online.

Good Afternoon Seahawks,

We look forward to seeing you all on Monday, August 24th as we begin our new school year.

All students, whether attending face to face or mySchool online, will need to login to myStudent on tonight to check their schedules.  There will be some changes made, so it will be important to check for any changes that might have occurred to your particular schedule.  Students who will be on campus will also see their first period class posted in the commons areas and on the guidance window and we will also have numerous staff members walking around campus with the list of first period classes for all students.  If you are not sure where to go first period simply ask an adult for help!  Students that have an off campus class first period or that do not have a first period class on their schedule should report to the media center to pick up their schedules.

Don’t forget that first period will start for ALL students at 7:20.  Students attending mySchool online will login to their first period myLearning course and click on the zoom link for attendance at 7:20 AM.  Students on campus will report to their first period by 7:20 AM.  For those arriving in the student drop off area- plan ahead and plan for patience as the line can be quite long the first few days of school as we get into routine.  Drivers- remember to pull all the way down to the last column!  Bus riders- be out at your stop at least 10 minutes before your stop time and be patient as busses establish their new routines.  The school day ends at 2:12 PM.

Our campus will be implementing new procedures for this upcoming year, including new traffic patterns for the hallways and rules for eating and the cafeteria.  All breakfast is to be eaten in your first period class.  Please visit our website today to watch the video on our new procedures.  As a reminder, masks must be worn while on campus, and students are expected to socially distance when on campus including during passing periods.  You must quickly travel directly from one class to the next.

Students who are attending mySchool online, please check the website for the Frequently Asked Questions document about mySchool online.  There are some helpful links there to help you get an idea of what to expect!

While school may look different and some procedures have changed, it’s still great to be a Sunlake Seahawk!  The entire Sunlake staff is looking forward to a great school year and we can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow…virtually or in person!
