The Outstanding Senior Award at Sunlake High School goes to Reese Van Brocklin.  This is part of a countywide recognition program by Pasco County Schools. It honors one senior from each high school who exemplifies excellence in four key areas:

  • Scholarship – Strong academic performance, often including high GPA, SAT/ACT scores, and advanced coursework.
  • Leadership – Active roles in student organizations, clubs, or sports teams.
  • Service – Meaningful volunteer work and contributions to the school and community.
  • Citizenship – Demonstrating respect, responsibility, and positive involvement on campus and beyond.

Nominees are typically recommended by faculty, staff, and peers. A district-level committee interviews candidates from all Pasco County high schools and selects one student per school to receive the award.  Congratulations Reese!
