Directors and Staff

Brandon is currently Director of Bands at Sunlake High School in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. During his time there, the Sunlake Marching Band has been an FMBC State Finalist, and has been named Grand Champion at three FMBC Regionals. The Wind Ensemble has been consistently Superior rated. The Indoor Percussion Ensemble is a 3-Time FFCC A Class Gold Medalist, and was a finalist, placing 7th in their first trip to WGI World Championships in 2018. The Winter Guard is a 3-Time FFCC A Class Medalist. He also serves on the Percussion/Winds Advisory Board for the FFCC. He is a graduate of The Florida State University with a degree in Instrumental Music Education. While at Florida State, He participated in Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Seminole Sound, Seminole Swing Machine, and was a 4-year member and 2-year Baritone Section Leader in the Marching Chiefs. He marched with the Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps from 2009 – 2011, where he served as the Baritone Section Leader for two seasons. He has consulted with the Heat Wave Drum and Bugle Corps Brass since 2016.

Brandon is married to his wife, Rachael, and currently resides in Wesley Chapel, FL with their many pets.
