Girls Regional Tournament:
Congratulations to our Girls Wrestling as they battled hard at the 1A Region 2 Championships at Kissimmee Osceola High School. Our team placed 7th out of 52 teams represented in the region. We had highlight performances by freshman Cameron Lord who placed 4th at 110lbs and qualified for the state tournament. Junior Kristy More was crowned region champion at 140lbs. More is the first region champion in program history. Other notable performances were delivered by junior Izabella Kullman who came one match away from making the state tournament.
Boys District Tournament:
Congratulations to our Boys Wrestling for placing 4th out of 13 teams in the 3A District 6 tournament. The day was highlighted by outstanding performances from district champions sophomore Zeke Johnson at 113lbs and junior Marco Rivera at 132lbs. Other notables performances were by sophomore Trenton Lindsay 🥈at 275lbs, juniors Ashton Horvath 4th at 120lbs, Daniel Locascio 4th at 144lbs, seniors Rafael Pacheco 🥉 at 138lbs and Pete Ancona 4th at 175lbs. Next stop, regions!
