State testing begins next week and continues for the remainder of the school year. All state testing is completed here at Sunlake High School. Students currently enrolled in the following classes will be taking State Assessments in April and May:
- English 1 and English 1 Honors
- English 2 and English 2 Honors
- Geometry and Geometry Honors
- Algebra 1
- Biology and Biology Honors
- US History and US History Honors
- FCLE (Florida Literacy Exam)
Please see the Assessment Calendar located under Calendars on our school home page for general dates. Testing rosters will be posted in myLearning under Announcements and will list dates, times and locations students are scheduled to test. The teachers of these classes will be given the testing rosters. Unfortunately, the large numbers of students participating in testing creates a situation where changes to these schedules cannot be made unless there are rare and extenuating circumstances or where there is a conflict with an Advanced Placement Exam. Any request for changes must be approved by Ms. Merlin.
Due to the limited number of days to complete these assessments, there will be very few make up dates offered in May. However, there will be opportunities to take missed tests this summer and in the fall.
