Meet The Teacher Day - Friday 8.7.26

MEET THE TEACHER DAY 2026-2027

Friday, August 7 • 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  • Bring a downloaded or printed copy of your schedule so you can walk your classes.
  • Teachers will have supply lists available.
  • Families may arrive anytime between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. The event ends promptly at 11:00 AM.
  • Administrators will be available to meet and greet families.
  • Counselors will not be available on this date.
  • Clubs and student groups will have information booths in the common areas of the buildings.
  • This is not a time for one-on-one counselor meetings or schedule change requests.
  • Schedule changes must be submitted through the school website using the MACH Form.
  • Freshmen who did not attend orientation may pick up a FREE freshman shirt in Room 4-144.

SLHS Student Schedule Change Request Form 2026-2027

SCHEDULES CAN ONLY BE CHANGED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

1. Student has a class on their schedule that they have already earned credit for.

2. Student is scheduled into a class that has a prerequisite that has not been completed.

3. Student is a senior and is missing a graduation requirement.

4. Student has been approved for an academy and does not have an academy class.

5. Student has less than 6 classes.

6. Student has a duplicate class on their schedule.

7. Student is missing a core course (Grade 9-12 Math or English OR Grade 10-12 Social Studies OR Grade 9-11 Science)

8. Student has two lunches or no lunch.

9. Courses do not reflect changes requested via the Course Request Acknowledgement Form completed in the Spring.

Student Parking

School Year 2026-2027

    • 2026-2027 Parking Applications Open July 1st.  A link to the application will be sent to all seniors via myStudent on this day.
    • Seniors that meet requirements can apply beginning July 1st.
    • Senior applications will receive priority processing from July 1st through July 22nd.
    • A link to the parking application will become live on the school’s web beginning Thursday, July 23rd.  Any eligible Junior or Senior that did not meet the July 22nd deadline are welcome to apply at this time for any remaining parking spots.  These applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
