Just before school started, SLHS hosted an informational meeting on mostly everything related to seniors and what to expect with this new upcoming school year.  The following link will provide you with the presentation slides that were discussed on that evening.

Auditions for Sunlake Theatre’s production of William Shakespeare’s As You Like It will be held in Portable 1 at 2:15pm on August 28th & 29th. The show is Oct. 31st-Nov.2nd, so please take that into consideration before auditioning. Scan the QR code on Posters around school or see Ms. West for audition materials.

The Drama Club will be having its first meeting on 8/15 at 2:15pm in Portable 1.

Students considering membership should attend this meeting or see Ms. West.

Spanish tutoring is available every Monday from 1:50-2:20 with the Hispanic Honor Society in room 3-113. Students have to make an appointment to ensure there are enough tutors to meet everyone’s needs!

Schedules can only be changed for the following reasons:

• Student has a class on their schedule that they have already earned credit for.
• Student is scheduled into a class that has a prerequisite that has not been completed.
• Student is a senior and is missing a graduation requirement.
• Student has been approved for an academy and does not have an academy class.
• Student has less than 6 classes.
• Student has a duplicate class on their schedule.
• Student is missing a core course (Grade 9-12 Math or English OR Grade 10-12 Social Studies OR Grade 9-11 Science)
• Student has two lunches or no lunch .
• Courses do not reflect changes requested via the Course Request Acknowledgement Form completed in the Spring.

**Do not enter numerous requests for the same schedule change. We review requests in the order in which they are received.**
***Please note that you must continue to follow your current schedule until you meet with your counselor***

While we always try our best, not all scheduyle change requests can be accommodated.  Course Request changes for electives will not be considered until after the second week of school.
